August 21, 2017 - Summer. Facebook. Privacy. Busy!
This summer was so busy it blew by! We had a record amount of appointments and were able to get lots of physical organizing done, but not near as many photo projects as hoped. We're going to be taking a lot of photos and sizing the next couple months while the weather is still good.
People have asked us why we're not on Facebook, Twitter, or other social media platforms and external retail sites. It's a good question so I'll address it, We're a very private small company who deal with incredible church items that are impossible to find. While our clients are primarily seminarians, priests and bishops, we also get high profile individuals and companies who need our items for many reasons including renovations, home chapels, rentals for weddings, documentaries, etc.
This doesn't mean we're not being seen. We average around 7500 unique visitors each month browsing our site, with over 50,000 hits per day. The exposure we receive is incredible yet humbling, we're riding the waves and enjoying every minute serving.
March 22, 2017 - Monstrances, Sanctuary Lights. Missal Stands and Tabors next!
Our warehouse can be very cold during the winter! We do have a room to heat and keep you happy when you visit, and when I'm not out of supplies I'll put on a pot of coffee to make it more bearable, but it's tough to keep working for long periods during the winter months. While we are always busy on the digital end, I genuinely enjoy working at our warehouse and am looking forward to what we can accomplish this spring and summer.
So what has been updated since I last brought tidings? We took all new monstrance photos, which also include the luna size as it's something often requested. We also finished most Sanctuary lights, the sizing is based from the top of the votive globe to the bottom of the light. If there's no votive, it's from the votive holder ring to the bottom of the light - I measured this way as the ceiling chains often are resized depending on where the lights will be hung. I'm about halfway through new photos of the missal stands and Tabors, and have another batch of Chalice photos almost done.
Speaking of Chalices, I must offer a genuinely HUGE thanks to "our future" - our seminarians! Thank you so much for visiting, sharing your stories, bringing your families, and telling your brothers about us! Your overwhelming support, visits and praise -- we're honored and humbled having the opportunity to provide a piece of traditional Catholic history that becomes a part of you.
Dec 27, 2016 - What a year!
Hope everyone had a blessed Advent and Christmas! We've been humbled by the response of our new site and have sold more in the last three months than we typically sell in a year, at a time that is historically slow! Since we never advertised, I focused our efforts on search engine optimization (so you see our site when doing searches), and have been highly successful helping churches find our unique inventory online like never before. Please bear with us while we work out the kinks, we've been busy adding inventory photos and redoing older pictures, however we have an enormous inventory and it will be an ongoing project. We're encouraged by so many churches redesigning or adding on, and are excited to continue to serve our Catholic community. Thank you all so much once again!
